This petition is to hopefully get some more characters into the status update thingy and the about me. 140 characters is not enough to fit everything some people want to say at the moment.It either gets squashed together or people just don't put it.We think it should be at least 200 characters.
As for the about me 500 characters is barely enough to describe oneself.I tried to fit everything in to describe me and I couldn't fit everything in.A lot of people don't read past the chatter part.1000 characters might be a bit much.Somewhere between 500 and 1000 should be just right.

140 is way too short for the about me section. i can barely list my music interests without it cutting me off constantly.
definitely need more space for status updates. its 2010 not 1999 lets get with the times already.
