IT IS TRUE THAT....... 1) Train passenger parking is having a negative impact on the streets surrounding Woodlesford train station; 2) The removal of a public highway on Station Lane would worsen the ongoing restricted parking problem in the proximity of Woodlesford train station; 3) We would like the parking issue to be considered in any applications for development in the Woodlesford area.

Roger Craven, United Kingdom8 years ago Comments: I live next to Woodlesford train station and I agree with the article in the Rothwell Record: the area immediately surrounding the train station is over crowded and dangerous. There are too many commuters parking on the street and ,in some cases, on the pavement. Creating a 'NO PARKING AT ANYTIME' zone will not relieve the issue but simply move it on. I truly hope the council can come up with a resolution to this issue
