In 2009 the Tory government changed state pension age for women ,so that many born after 1953 would not receive state pension at 60 as had been the case for years and was expected to remain so.this has had dire consequences on many women myself included who now have to work on after 60 if they can. I have worked as a nurse for 42years and have had to take ill health retirement due to a back problem.I will not receive my state pension until I am 64.Women mostly suffer pension wise due to being mothers and carers and this is another put down.I cant understand why there was no protest from women and female MP,S.Please sign my petition and please write to your MP.Thankyou
