I am circulating this petition for my nephew who has made a terribly bad choice of sex texting. He admits to his wrong doing and awaiting his punishment but the Christian County States Attorneys are delaying the process. Although what my nephew done is wrong and unacceptable I can not stand on the sidelines watching as the justice system plays games with peoples lives and emotions. Fair is fair & We have constitution rights in place for a reason! They are trying to say he waived his right to a speedy trial, now what person would do that, for real. Extensive research I have found where he waives the preliminary (which he still went to) hearing but nothing else. He was arrested 12/13/12 and still sits in jail from countless continuances from the state. Ordered an eval on 3/28/13 but documented it is scheduled for 7/10/13 then was cancelled and scheduled 7/11/13. I know my nephew is in the wrong and no way am I accepting what he done but what Christian County is putting him and his loved one though is just as wrong. I ask that you sign this petition to hold them accountable as well. Make him register but drop this nonsense. I pray that you all find it in your heart to see justice and not judge. AMEN!
