    Comments: Dear Mr. Lucas, I love the Star Wars Universe and all that it encompasses. I have a certain fondness for the Clone Wars, as even though I had seen the six movies, this was what got me reinterested in Star Wars and the Expanded Universe. The EU was a whole new experience for me, introducing me to wonderful characters and stories. I would very much like, however, for the Clone Wars to mesh with these stories, instead of rendering them noncanon or having to have a billion retcons done on preexisting stories. Most of them, such as the different take on Mandalore, did not bother me, but Even Piell's death was the straw that broke the camel's back. He was supposed to survive until the Coruscant Nights trilogy, though I suppose even this could be retconned to be another Jedi Master. Please, I love the movies and the Clone Wars, but I have a deep appreciation for the EU and its authors. Don't mess up the beautiful continuity that is your Star War Universe.

    Comments: Just today I threw away a stack of old magazines and printouts filled with obscure minutia and facts about the Star Wars universe with the saddening though in my head that none of it really mattered anymore since it could all be rendered contradictory in a heartbeat, so why bother. I'd hate to have this situation escalate to the point where I even stop caring about the books, comics, etc because the stories don't matter. And that would be a straight loss of revenue from the franchise right there.
