This is a petition so the hard working students of B-CC, can get a break so we can sleep in, and be better rested, and more focused during our morning classes. Studies show that Kids who Sleep longer at night have a better Grade Point Average, than kids who don't get a good nights sleep. http://www.cehd.umn.edu/pubs/ResearchWorks/sleep.html As Shown in this article of a study, kids who get less sleep, are shown to be more likely to experience symptoms such as depression, difficulty relating to peers and parents, and are more likely to use alcohol and other drugs. All this and more can be changed, by letting our teens sleep 1 hour more. The students will have better grades, and will be less likely to use alcohol and other drugs.
