We the loyal fans of Star Trek whilst enjoying the latest instalment in the movie franchise feel that the soundtrack was lacking in certain areas and did not have the resonance of earlier works by Jerry Goldsmith and would like the producers of any potential sequel to seriously reconsider re-instating what we feel to be the one and only, defacto Star Trek theme, that is Jerry Goldsmith's overture!
