Atlanta is thriving and we need to be a major part in her development. Let's not take a backseat to what is added and taken away from our GREAT city. It has been said that Atlanta has become an extension of Hollywood. With all the major film studios that have opened around the city you are bound to run into the filming of the next box office hit or an award-winning television series. You may even be cast as an extra.

But there are many who miss the opportunity to get up close or get that quick selfie with their favorite celebrity. There are many who grew up with entertainers and notable leaders from Atlanta or surrounding cities in Georgia, who never get a chance to say hello to their hometown heros.

Well, I've come up with a win-win opportunity for the residents and visitors of Atlanta. Why not have a Madame Tussauds Wax Museum attraction right here in Atlanta? Merlin Entertainments, the company that owns LegoLand Discovery Center, located in Phipps Plaza; own Madame Tussauds too.

By signing this petiton, we would let Merlin Entertainments know exactly how much we would love to have a Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in our city. Why travel to Orlando, Florida or Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to see our favorite celebrities; when we could have them right here.

This would be an attraction for young and old.
