We're all tired of being called mid-week and being told we are working tomorrow because the schedule has been changed. We need a hard copy of the schedule so that our intelligence is not undermined and we are not being "fooled" into thinking we were on the schedule for that day from the start. Also, it would be nice if we didn't have more associates in the system then available hours to be worked giving the majority of us less then 10 hours a week. Also, it would be nice if we werent scheduled 1 day a week on days we are not available so we must call out so we and have no hours whatsoever for the week. On top of all of that, this store used to be a family and the dissatisfaction of every employee largely due to these scheduling issues, is making this a tough place to work which in turn makes our store suffer as a whole. Lets make some changes, lets get together and work on this because i think the environment at staples needs a bit of a shift.
