Dear youth, we need you!
Racism is one of the most biggest and dangerous issues surrounding us today. It has been one of the causes of many atrocities throughout history such as the holocaust. Sometimes it has been due to the adults in society. Unfortunately they havent always acted responsibly. It is now upto us young people to put an end to this. We as young people are capable of making more change than we think we can. We call upon you and encourage you to sign our petition to pledge your support for fighting racism.You can do simple things such as not joining into racist jokes - perhaps even giving a 'strange' look to those who do make these jokes to put them off making them. You can create posters and leaflets to raise awareness about the issue of racism. You can organise assemblies and events in your school to help people understand what racism is. You can teach your friends about what the different types of racism are. You can do so many things.
As a young person you are capable of influencing other young people more than anyone else. Its time to take action. Its time to end racism.

I really had no idea so many people would actually click sign on this because sitting at my desk feeling angry about how adults handle these things is one thing but seeing this groundswell is totally different. The momentum is honestly surreal and it feels like we are finally pushing back against the status quo in a way that feels permanent.

ADULTS NEED TO DO BETTER. Glad to see kids taking the lead on this one. Tired of the ignorance.
