~ We the citizens of the United States of America respectfully request that our President and Congress enact legislation that would authorize the United States Postmaster General to issue an Elder Abuse semipostal stamp; and,
~ We call upon Congress to fund the Elder Justice Act of 2010.
~ The citizens of the United States of America respectfully urge the President to issue a proclamation recognizing June 15, 2012 as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and consider lighting the White House purple on this date.

Disgusting behavior. hope the people doing this get what they deserve.
Elder abuse is a hidden crime that needs way more attention than it gets. thanks for doing this.
My mom went through this and it breaks my heart. Glad people are finally speaking up about it.
So scary how often this happens to our elderly neighbors. hope this helps change things.
