Name: Kerri Hartman on Mar 27, 2003State: FLCountry: USComments: The Diocese of Orlando has made serious errors in its quoting of Canon Law in this regard. All facts point to the Diocese's desire to have Father Brown removed from his parish. This cannot be allow to happen. It is unjust and unChristian.Flag

Name: Dalia Alarnick on Mar 28, 2003State: FLCountry: USComments: Dear Bishop Dorsey, As I, sat here thinking about everything that has transpired within the last few days concerning Father Brown. I find that I am at a lost as to why the Dioceses of Orlando would persecute a priest of his caliber. It boggles the mind. Here is a priest whose only desire is to serve the lord. Father Brown is an excellent priest. He truly cares. He has never once made me feel like a dollar sign (unlike some churches that I have attended). His only request is that we serve the lord, helping the parish in whatever capacity we can. Father Brown has always been there for my family in times of need. When my older daughter was denied entrance into Catholic School, when, my younger daughter had surgery, when my brother-in-laws father died, when my sister had surgery and not to long ago when my brother -in- laws mother had surgery he was always just one phone call away. Why would the Diocese of Orlando in its infinite wisdom wish to remove such a priest A priest who dedicates himself to following canon law to the full extend the way it should be. There is a sayingFlag

Joyce and I were preent wednesday and thursday and witnessed the events first hand. Something like this should not happen in this country let alone within the Catholic Church. May God bless our St. Joseph's and Father Brown.Flag

Brown is suffering persecution for his faithfulness to Pope John Paul II, the Magisterium and Roman Catholic Tradition, reverent worshipers celebrate his courage in defending the Faith against those who would despoil the very treasures of Christ's Church and His Legacy. In the end it will be He who frees His people from the tyranny and ecclesio-fascism that have infected so many American chanceries.Flag

Name: Sylvia Daroszewski on Apr 16, 2003State: FLCountry: USComments: I have worked with Fr. Brown for last 10 years as a member of our Polish Catholic Community at St. Joseph's, and never felt any wrongdoing on his part. He is very supportive of our Polish Catholic Community and very dedicated to the parish and the community. Even though the St. Joseph's parish has been and is short of staff, Fr. Brown never lets anything that is happening at the Church off his attention. He is always there when you need him, no matter how exhausted he is. Fr. Brown has done so much for the St. Joseph church in the last 14 years I've been a member of the parish and should be rewarded for all his effort and building up the property and the community.Flag

Mass at St. Joseph's is an experience that cannot be matched with any other church in the diocese. Fr. Brown provides a true Catholic mass and for that I am truly grateful.Flag

I cannot imagine the church lead by anyone else. If it were not for Father Brown and his dedication to serve God, our Polish Catholics would not have a place to worship in Orlando. Thanks be to our Lord for people like Father Brown!!!!Flag

Name: Sarah E. Taylor on Apr 16, 2003State: FLCountry: USComments: My support, along with the support of my entire family is with Father Brown and St. Joseph's parish. It is unfortunate that we have such a poor excuse for a Bishop in the Orlando diocese, and we are looking forward to the next Bishop who will be assigned to Orlando to lead us back towards traditional Catholic teachings. Bishop Dorsey and the elite few that surround him like blow flies may threaten and try to remove conservative, traditional Priests from serving their congregation; but their progressive ideals will be their undoing. A new generation of traditional families, with traditional values has come back up "out of the back of the church", sort of speaking..And I will not expose my children or disrespect God and the Holy See by jumping aboard their "tolerance bandwagon" Shame on you Bishop Dorsey! We will not tolerate the infestation of the Roman Catholic Church by progressives like yourself.Flag

Name: Marek Voit on Apr 16, 2003State: FLCountry: USComments: I have known Father Brown for over 15 years, first as a priest from St. John Vianney Church abd then as a pastor of St. Joseph's parish. He alsways struck me as a"matter-of-fact" person who knew his mission and did the best to carry it out. I am surprised about the current crisis between him and the office of the Bishiop. I know Father Brown to be always loyal to the church and its hierarchy. I hope the current crisis will be shortly resolved to all the parties satisfaction. I am especially greatful to Father Brown for his total support for the Polish atholic Community that Through the office of the Bishop has been established at St. Joseph's parish. Father Brown is very supportive and influential in the group's success. I can only talk in superlatives about Father brown. Sincerely, Dr. Marek VoitFlag
