Name: Penny Ashley on Nov 1, 2007Comments: I hate SST I have not used this card in over a year and the balance has not gone down at all. I go online to make payments and I swear the due date changes every month. They just love charging those fees. How crappy is it when they charge you a late fee ( because they change your due date) then the late fee puts you over your limit so they charge you an over the limit fee too. They are the ones that caused me to be over my limit by charing me a bogus late fee.Flag

Name: Terry Holland on Nov 8, 2007Comments: This place is one to avoid. I cannot expain to them that many of the charges on this bill also appeared on my last statement! In addition, to make matters even worse, their customer services staff is rude and uncaring. After years of supervising customer service staff and supervision, I feel experienced to rate their customer services staff with an "S" for Sucks!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 14, 2007Comments: I am not sure but I haven't used my card since it was sold to SST. I understand I am only making payments every month for the minimun pymt plus an extra few dollars, but the balance is not going down only a few dollars a month. My interest rate is very high also. If I could find a way, I would defitnetly transfer my balance to another card and maybe they would be more fair.Flag

Name: Claudia M. Young on Nov 15, 2007Comments: I originally had an account with Washington Mutual and it was sold, I guess, to SSTCard Services. One month I was late and they have treated me like crap every since. Once upon a time I had a grace period and now they tell me that I don't. It turns out that they don't have one and they have raised my interest rate to 39%. Not only that but they charge you $10.00 to make a payment on the phone and their on-line site is seldom available. I have been trying for three days to make a payment and whenever I go on-line, I get a message that the site is not available. I called the company today and was told that there appears to be a problem with their e-mail site and if I want to make a payment over the phone it will cost me $10.00. The payment is due Sunday and today I was told that if it's not paid by tomorrow I will be charged another late charge because they don't post payments over the weekend. THIS IS THE BIGGEST RACKET I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I CAN'T WAIT TO PAY THEM OFF. I HAVE MADE A PROMISE NOT TO EVER USE THIS CARD AGAIN AND I ADVISE ANYONE HOLDING ONE OF THEIR CARDS TO CONSIDER THIS ESPECIALLY WITH CHRISTMAS COMING.Flag

Name: Richard Eggert on Nov 15, 2007Comments: I have the same complaints as everyone else, my card was sold to SST without me knowing about it. A letter was sent I never recieved, by the time my payments were forwarded to SST I have late fees. Was told to send the payment to PO BOX 3397 St Joseph, MO after a few months of payment going there got phone calls saying payment is still going to the wrong location. Now payment needs to go to PO BOX 23060 COLUMBAS, GA. MEANWHILE LATE FEES ARE RACKING UP AND MY CREDIT SHOWS ALL THESE LATE PAYMENT. I'm in the military and it's getting very frustrating trying to deal with these people. Every time you talk to a different person you get different info, my APR is 32% now All I get is sorry for your trouble from them.Flag

Name: Jason Coburn on Nov 20, 2007Comments: i made a late payment one time because i forgot to press the "confirm" button and pressing the "submit" button when paying on-line. They then raised my interest rate from 12% to 31%. Real nice guys. They would not reverse any fees. No warnings about their unfriendly rules. I can't wait to pay off my account and be done with this company.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 23, 2007Comments: These people are crazy! They make no sense and are an obvious ripoff/con group. I made a payment of $93.78 to them in the month of Oct. and wouldn't ya know that my billing for the month of Nov. was $179.00 with most recent purchases at only $40 or so. Where does their mathematical process originate Obviously, from an alien source! WE NEED HELP WITH THIS OBSCENE COMPANY A.S.A.P.!! I'm truly trying to bring my credit report scores up but this is costing dearly!!!!!!!!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 27, 2007Comments: My Providian/WAMU card was sold to SST. I never received a notice of this, never received anything from them until I received my "second" statement and had late charges. I called and complained to them (their number boots your call unless you choose "report a lost or stolen card") The girl I talked to asked if I "was on crack". I called back and wanted a manager, but lo and behold, there were none available. They do not send the statements, they do not wave a late fee (most cards wave one in a 12 month period) they blast you with high interest rates, and if you pay more than $199 at a time, they hold your payment for 10 days on their end even though your bank shows the money has been taken. When they demand payments, they also offer you a "check by phone" with a $10 or 14.99 fee (varies depending on who you talk to). You can't pay with another credit card, so you can't transfer your balance out to another card. I paid them in full in July of 07, and they continued slapping me with interest fees. I paid the next set of interest fees, and got another charge of interest fees. This continued until I emailed them and demanded that they stop their rediculious fees. I want to sue the pants off these scammers!!Flag

Name: Faola Grant on Nov 29, 2007Comments: I sent my payment through my bank's billpay and they in turn sent it to SST. It just so happened that July 4th was that week and it made my payment 1 day late. I now pay the highest interest rate even though I had NEVER been late before or since.Flag

My account was sold to them by WAMU, and they jacked up my apr from 17% to 31.49, I keep calling and nothing gets done. They are ridiculous. They always tell me there is nothing they can do, and when I ask to speak to a supervisor, there is NEVER anyone around.Flag

I had a dispute with my balance when it transferred from WAMU, but with numerious request with SST to request statements. Havent receive any statement yet. I have paid almost $600 in fees of $2800.00 Balance.Flag
