| 6557 | john r gann | I find it hard to believe that wages, that were earned and paid into Social Security, can be stolen by the Federal Govt. with no regard for the retirement needs of the individual who worked so hard to earn a living and comply with Federal law. In my case I worked for 18 years in the private sector. I decided at age 40 that I desired to teach children the importance of a sound body and the relationship to intelligence and success. The govt. is constantly asking for more good teachers! Is this a program that will convince quality people to make career changes? We should be allowed to receive benefits (that were earned and paid for) or the program should refund all of the money that I paid into Social Security as a private sector employee. |

| 6571 | Vicki Hugebeck | I earned all my S.S. quarters before I became a teacher. I probably won't get full benefits from STRS because I'll be too old when I retire. I should be able to count on the S.S. money that I earned. |
