Comments: Sir, You well know the miserable reputation that the blue helmets have earned. You can change that. The people of Sri Lanka that their own government does not like desperately, desperately need help. You can give them that help. I expect that you will. William G Smith

Comments: As a doctor that went to Sri Lanka with a USA and Canadian team of doctors 45 days after the Tsunanmai to treat the Tsunamai victims of Sri Lanka I am apalled at the current events in Sri Lanka and the evident genocidal campaign of the Sri Lankan government against the Tamil population in the name of fighting the so-called terrorist tTamil Tigers, who are actually freedom fighters and have been the only force protecting the Tamil population from genocide since 1980.

It appears to be just another ruse of the Singalese government to hide what have been their intentions since independence from England. THe intent of the Singalese government is and has always been to murder off the Tamil population and then acquire the resource rich land which has been the land of the Tamil population since the very beginnings of what was known as Ceylon and is now known as Sri Lanka.
