Much of this text seems to be written by LTTE terrorists themselves and are pulling the same line as the LTTE terrorists. The Government of Sri Lanka is liberating hundreds and thousands of civilians from LTTE atrocities and LTTE is pulling their last resort of UN intervention. LTTE is one of the world's ruthless organisations that grossly violate human rights. They ethnically cleansed the whole North and East of Sri Lanka by massacring thousands of innocent civilians. They are the worlds biggest violators of Child Conscription and forcibly recruit thousands of young children who are small as 10 years. The support for LTTE is Sri Lanka is less than 0.01% of the total population of 19 Million People. The successive democratically elected governments tried many occasions to bring LTTE terrorists to the democratic road, but all these occasions they duped the governments. They killed the Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Ghandhi and the Sri Lankan President Premadasa. These LTTE bombs killed thousands of innocent civilians in Sri Lanka.
This petition is a work of LTTE. UN needs to open its eyes and understand that these petitions are part of LTTE agenda.
Once this LTTE menace is eliminated from Sri Lanka, the peace will prevail and there will be a climate of harmony among all the people.
It clearly looks like Ellyn Shander, MD and Lisa Hanson have been misled by the LTTE terrorists. |

UNITED NATIONS, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- The anti-corruption watchdog Transparency International in Sri Lanka said there is no explanation for more than $500 million in missing tsunami relief funds.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Integrated Regional Information Networks released a statement Friday saying Transparency International Sri Lanka has "no precise evidence to explain the missing sum of (nearly $535 million)."
TISL said there is a gap in the amount distributed by aid agencies and the amount spent on reconstruction projects geared toward damages from the Dec. 24, 2004 tsunami that killed nearly 250,000 people and devastated thousands of acres of land. |

Arial bombing never solved issues in any country.
Srilanka is a small country with tamils safe haven in the North and East of Srilanka. Arial bombing in North and and East caused/causes vast number of civilian deaths, casualties and trauma for the living and the injured.
