Name: Amanda Marks on Jun 3, 2009Comments: I believe that the agreement between groups and the SRMA and SRROA be upheld and left intact if there is no violation of said agreement. If not, what do we have an agrement for In all the documentaion on the SRMA website, it clearly states that the common areas and community centers are for all the residents use. No one pool is owned by any group of homeowners, or have more rights to use it, based on their proximity to said pool.Flag

Name: Cheryl Breeden on Jun 3, 2009Comments: My children and I are on teams that use the facilities. This has been a great benefit to our family in getting to know others in the community with the same interests. It would be a shame if this priviledge was taken away because of an individual complaint.Flag

Name: Cornelia Kamp on Jun 3, 2009Comments: It is absolutely unacceptable that the HOA should change the agreement with the Steiner Stars, for which over 500 families in the Steiner Ranch community are benefiting given the complaints of a few families who may be slightly inconvienced on a few occasions. There are three recreation pools that home owners can use when the pool is in use by the swim teams. How is it possible for the HOA to be so short-sighted in its mission when so many home owners are currently benefiting from the team opportunity afforded by the Steiner Stars Swim teams The HOA should stick with its original commitment to the Steiner Stars and not attempt to change its agreement one week into an 8 week season. We all pay the same HOA dues for the use of the various facilities. Loud compliants of a few individuals living directly in the Bella Mar community should not dicate the use of this community facility based on their proximity alone.Flag

Name: Debbie Myers on Jun 3, 2009Comments: We have 3 elementary schools (and LOTS of kids) in this neighborhood. We are going to have a lot of teams who need places to practice. I do not want to have to go outside our neighborhood for sports teams when we have beautiful facilities here! Sometimes having all of these teams may cause us personal inconvenience - but other times we will be thankful for them. Part of belonging to a COMMUNITY!Flag

Name: Thomas & Theresa Piegat on Jun 3, 2009Comments: Our facilities should be allocated to support the needs of both groups and individuals. And most importantly once the facilities committee and our HOA have agreed to their use for a period of time that agreement should be upheld by all parties.Flag

Name: Susan Butler on Jun 3, 2009Comments: Steiner Ranch has a very succesful competitive swim team that benefits all of the families in Steiner Ranch. Community interest and support for the swim team already exceeds the current team capacity. We are a large community of families with children, and our swim team is an attraction to buyers who consider living here. It is the responsibility of the HOA to consider the interests of all residents with regard to the facility use contract, not just a few who consider themselves inconvenienced. We all benefit from a healthy, vibrant swim team. Our home values are enhanced by this excellent community organization. Amending the facilities agreement for the convenience of a few residents should not be undertaken. Their perceived inconvenience pales in comparison to the enormous community benefit we realize as a result of our swim program.Flag

Name: Chris Gerken on Jun 3, 2009Comments: If these few complaining homeowners have their way at the expense of the swim team then I want the board to consider restricting those homeowners in Bella Mar from using the Steiner Ranch Blvd and Quinlin park intersections during rush hour as its these late comers to the neighborhood that are making up the horrible traffic at those intersections near to my houseFlag

Name: Tamara Lorson on Jun 3, 2009Comments: The swimming pool in the Bella Mar Subdivision was planned as the Steiner Stars competition pool. It is a great facility and serves hundreds of resident children participating in a sport that promotes endurance and perserverance, healthy living and lifelong sport. Please continue to allow team sports to be available within our community.Flag

Name: Julie Wolk on Jun 4, 2009Comments: When you buy near an airport....expect airplanes. When you buy near a community center with multiple fields and a competition pool, expect sports to be played there. I have personally been at meetings where the swim team made distinct decisions to respect the community within which the pool resides.Flag

Name: Angie on Jun 4, 2009Comments: One of the best things about Steiner is the ability and convienience of having everything close and lots of choices for our kids. Other neighborhoods outside of Steiner use their pools for swim team too. I am sure not all of them have 2 other empty ones to use as back up. These are Steiner kids using these pools. I think it is fair that the swim team use Bella Mar - 600 kids has got to mean something!Flag
