Squirrel Boy is a comedic cartoon show created by Duckman creator Everett Peck that featured the comedic misadventures about Andy Johnson and his combination best friend and pet squirrel Rodney. It debuted on Cartoon Network in the US in May 2006 and the series ended its run on September 2007 with 26 half-hour episodes and six 2-minute shorts. The series was also seen on Teletoon in Canada as well as Cartoon Network in Australia and several other countries throughout the world. Sadly, Squirrel Boy never received a DVD release throughout its lifespan. It is also not seen on the revived Cartoon Planet block on Cartoon Network in the US, nor is it available on Netflix. Because of this and the fact that no country anywhere in the world has aired Squirrel Boy for quite a while, the show faded into oblivion and became rare. It is available on iTunes however. If this rare gem of comedy cartoon were to be released on DVD, it would be split into two seasons with two discs for each season. An extra disc containing the six shorts the show had and other bonus features like an interview with the staff of the show, funny deleted scenes and bloopers, and promos for the show will be added. Miss Squirrel Boy and got the guts to sign this petition to get this rare CN treasure on DVD? Feel free to sign to get Warner Home Media to make an official release of the show. Thanks for taking your time and reading this.
