We, the undersigned believe that a stand, preferably the East Stand, at the DW Stadium should be named to honour the memory of Springfield Park.
This would not only reflect the proud history of the, soon to be, stadium owners, Wigan Athletic Football Club but also the history of sport in the town of Wigan as a whole.
