Alex John | Save Spillers! Its where i got my first punk rock record from! Save Spillers!!

James Harvey | Love this shop, it must be preserved. Like my shit in the Duporth holiday village chalet. It was covered with rice crispies... mmm good.
Carole Tait | My friend in Wales told me about the BBC history programme and Spillers Record Shop. I'm coming to visit in the week 16-22nd July sometime. We lost our little record shops in Edinburgh and Fife years ago. Good luck!

EDDY | Spillers must remain, theres a proposal to turn the old library into a museum about the history of Cardiff ,while a short distance down the Hayes this unique part of Cardffs history is under threat of closure.Shame on those who are trying to bring this about. You can bet they dont come from Cardiff or care anything about the city other than somewhere to make a finacial gain.
Geoffrey Hunt | I love Spillers it's such a great place no way should it close.
Simon Edwards | Don't lose the history in the name of progress!!
Clive Morris | Save Spillers! It's cultural significance to Cardiff is just as important as any statue, museum or castle.

Catlin Langford |
Richard Powell | I found Spillers by accident whilst in Cardiff yesterday. Instead of the anodyne atmosphere you find in all the majors you felt as if you were somewhere where people actually cared about music. As for the majors always being cheaper. RUBBISH. I bought a newly remastered UFO album in there £3 and £4 cheaper than it was in Zavvi and HMV. Plus I got a Budgie album I had not been able to findin any of the majors. The philistines of Helical Bar must not be allowed to turn this into another souless, lifeless anyshop in anytown!!!!!!!

Rogg Batt | Shops like "Spillers" are the reason that ppl go to Cardiff town-centre. If you replace all the small shops that have individual character and charm with big-name chainstore clones, ppl may as well just go to Cribs or any other interchangeable out-of-town shopping centre.
Florencia Adobbato |
P.Statham | Spillers must be saved in its current form. It is a stunning example of a classic record shop
Anonymous | Spillers ROCKS!
Catherine Davis | It is a Cardiff institution - even in the tourist guide books - it must be saved!
TRISTAN CLAPPE | it must not shut. cardiff is being ruined by redevelopment. keep the shops that make it individual.
Anonymous | The loss of an indipendent record shops such as spillers is an absolute traversty. Please save the shop, it is a national landmark and its demise would be a national disgrace
