Comments: I have collected Spiderman since I was 6 years old. I am now 52. I will no longer buy Spiderman again. Having a masters degree and a teacher for thirty years (and obviously not a moron) I find what you have done to Spiderman to be the the absolute least inventive, least respect of character, most stupid sellouts in the history of the art form. Quesada is a no talent hack and Marvel allowing him to even touch their characters will result in what THEY deserve for doing so....dropping appreciation for their creativity. Marvel is not the old house of ideas anymore....it is the house of crap. I thank Marvel for one thing....Since I wont read your comics anymore, I am going to take the ones that Lee and Kirby and Ditko did, sell them, and pay off my house....and if any more money is left over, get a second masters degree. God knows I need to seel them now, if Quesada has his way, they wont be worth crap in a few years.....

Comments: “With great power… comes great responsibility!” Unfortunately these words that Spiderman lived by didn’t come into consideration when it came to creating/concluding OMD. It is heart wrenching to see that someone (Joe Quesada) could do such a thing. Here are my thoughts… and hopefully others agree: 1. To make a deal with Mephisto, who is clear representation of the devil is down right unethical. 2. To destroy a marriage… has it ever occurred to you that many people who follow Spiderman come from broken homes Peters & MJ’s marriage brought hope that through all the hardships and sacrifices a marriage can actually prevail. 3. The death of Aunt May WOULD have been sad… But compromising the very essence of what Spiderman is and what he represented… quote on quote “With great power… comes great responsibility!”… TRAGEDY!!!

Comments: I've tolerated the Death of the New Warriors, The miss-characterization and destruction of Speedball, The vilifying of Iron Man, and The Death of Captain America. OMD was a not only mischaracterization of Spidey. It was a slap in the face of fans like myself that have been reading Spiderman comics longer than Spiderman and Mary Jane have been married. Marriage is a noble and sacred institution. Joe Quesada’s having Peter make a deal with the devil to suit his belief that it’s better to be single was a distasteful display on his part and a blatant abuse of power. In this day in age where marriages fail and people struggle to make relationships work. It’s nice to see a marriage that actually does work, even if it is a marriage of fictional characters. I sincerely hope Marvel sees the error of this. As for Joe Q… I’m sorry it was more fun for you to be single, but maybe if you found your one true love like Peter and Mary Jane your life wouldn’t be so miserable.

Comments: The OMD story made Peter Parker look like the most selfish jerk in the world, and making a deal with Mephisto makes no sense. Peter and MJ both know that Mephisto is a liar, deceiver, and trickster. His deals are fickle and always end up working against the people that struck the deal, and Peter knows this. Also, this story is a slap in the face not only to the fans, but to EVERY writer, artist, and editor, etc. who spilled their blood, sweat, and tears into the Spider-man mythos over the last 20 years. I will no longer buy Marvel products until the marriage is brought back to Spider-man's comics.

Comments: I don't pick up every copy of Spiderman, but over the last 3-4 years I was reading the comic almost as much as I did as a teenager during the 70s. This misguided change is a terrible decision -- I enjoyed seeing one of my favorite superheroes grow up. Unless the marriage is restored, I'm sorry to say that I won't be reading Spiderman anymore.

Comments: Please don't take away the want for all of us fans to watch Peter grow. We don't always want to see him beat up and beat down. Sometimes its good to know that Peter has a life other than climbing walls and ticking off Wolverine. You take away the last few years of development, you take away the reason all of us have invested our time, money and love for a true icon of the modern age. Retcon Spidey to a separate timeline, then write away for yourself, just leave our guy alone.

Comments: Spider-Man got married 20 years ago and should stay married. It should not be dissolved in this or any other way. PP is hope where in other places there is revenge and darkness. That is NOT what Soider.Man is about. OMD was totally and completely written out of character. I have been reading Spider-Man all my life and I am know 36. I think I know what IN character is all about in regards to SM. I sincerily hope Marvel decides to undo this in the near future. I can live with it for a year, just like Heroes Reborn. After that, have SM renounce his deal someway and continue with the Status Quo.

Comments: joe is gonna be eating alot of shit for this for some time, and even though we know they will retcon this egotistical mess he created, you know he's gonna say he planned it all along....fire him marvel. it is pointless for any new or regualr marvel reader to continue reading/buying any of thier comics when at a n egotistical momen the editor could decide to write a story that make the past happenings in any or all books be as if they hadn't happened at a certain time or at all. why should people spend money on stories that may mean nothing eventually fuck what q says about ...it's all about good story telling and not continuity....yes it is about continuity and good story or bs story...and that is what yours is q....nobody would buy your comics if they were stories scattered here and there that have no timeline from taking place at a certain time, scatter your stories in marvel advs or some other line you write. we all know you are trying to make a name for yourself writing a certain story that you think people will always remember you for in a cool way,but not this time, this time people will remember you for the shit story you wrote and then eventually later if not by you then by somebody else to turn this crap to the way it should have been. i know you don't read this and that is cool but,if you do.....have fun,if you dare,to show your face at this summers marvel panels answering questions from us,but i somehow don't think you will be either there doing that or if you are,you won't be replying to any of us about our opinions.

Comments: I'm glad to see Harry again but not at the cost of continuity. Different people from all walks of life and ages know that MJ & Pete are meant to be not Gwen or whatever floozy of the week he's with, whether they've read a comic or just seen the cartoon or movies. The Undoing of their marriage was foolhardy and selfish. Along with the damage that was done to any progression that was made over years... it was downright insulting. Any positive feedback is solely based on the writing and artistic talent creativity shown and those to come not the changes that were made. I've always been a huge supporter of your decisions but this... simplemente no puedo soportalo

Comments: The storyline for the last year and a half was stupid. This goes against everything marvel was about. Once a character is dead they should stay dead. That was the difference between Marvel and DC. Something else : Why does every story at Marvel have to be a MOTHER FUCKING event What ever happened to stories that were contained in one issue. I hate buying 15 comics I don't want to read a Spider-man Story.

Comments: If I wanted the unmarried, non evolved story of Peter Parker, isn't that what I'm supposed to buy Ultimate Spider-man for I've been reading the spidey comics for the past 15 years, and it just sucks so bad that now every story (from the first ones I spent my lunch money on, to the ones I buy during my lunch break at the construction sites) apparently never even happened, or at least not the way I read it. Please fix this mess Marvel... make it look like it was planned to be corrected... have pete be a skrull that somehow even fooled Mephisto... have pete realize what happened and go on a yearlong fight to fix it... or just have Dr.Strange, Doop & Franklin Richards all team up and fix it... just do something so I can go back to reading my friendly neighborhood Spider-man. Please.

I got back into comics after a long abscence and was happy to find the way Spider-man was. And what happens you make him into a kid, something just does not feel right about this.
