| 224 | Avi Green | I've been a fan of Peter and Mary Jane's marriage for a long time, just as much as I've been a fan of Reed Richards' and Sue Storm's marriage in the Fantastic Four, and I too am angry that the Spider-Marriage has been broken up, mainly because they were written as making a deal with the devil. I haven't bought brand new pamphlet issues of a comic for at least 3 years now, thanks to horrible stunts like these, and I'm not about to begin again if this is how they're going to treat longtime fans, and even people who are new to comics. |

In all that time, I have never been so thoroughly disgusted and offended by a story as by One More Day, and mine is a readership that includes the Clone Saga and the Byrne / Mackie reoot.
Additionally, it is not only established fans who are turned off by these events. I recently summarized the events of One More Day to a friend who has little experience with Spider-Man outside of the recent films, and he was just as bothered by this as those of us who have signed this petition. |

I watch this character actually grow from writer to writer and i grew to. Not all the stories were great but most were good. few were garbage. ( the clone saga being one) And now in a time when most readers are adults and the kids have a marvel kiddie line rather then have this Amazing! Character grow ! They say screw it !! And do a BS!!! RESET!! I will not ever by another Marvel comic again!! In Fact Marvel will not ever so much as get 1 cent from me period no movies!! NOTHING!! Fans get tired of being screwed. |
