Drivers have been speeding up and down Amherst Avenue recently to bypass the ever-growing traffic conditions plaguing Wilshire Boulevard and Bundy Avenue at various hours of the day. Amherst Avenue has become a short-cut to get up to Montana/San Vicente fast, and at all hours lately; And vice versa -drivers are using Amherst as a shortcut from San Vicente/Montana Ave. down to Wilshire Boulevard. On a street filled with families, including those with small children, the level of danger by speeding drivers is rapidly increasing.
