San Altos Elementary is in need of a Sensory Motor Lab. A sensory motor lab is a room designated for special education students to assist in everyday learning difficulties. If a student is having a meltdown, or just a difficult day a sensory motor lab will assist that student in getting calmed down, happy, and back to what matter's most, learning!! As parent's we all want what is best for our children. Being healthy, happy and receive a appropriate education. Why shouldn't special education students will allowed the same things? This lab will help our special education students will their therapy sessions, completely school work, and learning with tools that they understand and enjoy. With learning and completing their school work they will in turn have higher self-esteem and be happier students who are excited to go to school!! Help us, help our special students by signing out petition. We will be appearing in front of the school board to ask for assistance with the motor lab. We will also be offering to hold as many fundraisers as needed to help with the cost of the motor lab. Please help us, and sign.
