Name: Tom Maynard on Mar 13, 2012Comments: As a healthcare professional and patient advocate, it is absolutely beyond comprehension to willfully, without oversight, withhold personal health information of any type that would allow a consenting adult to make a decision regarding her health. This is NOT consistent with the Hypocratic oath to "do no harm."Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 13, 2012Comments: Please don't insult us. We know this isn't tort reform. It's tart reform. You join the millions of soldiers in the war against women and will stop literally at nothing to make sure access to abortion is stripped cleanly away. But lying to patients, or neglecting to investigate and evaluate their gestation, is criminal.Flag

Name: Barbara Mastroddi on Mar 13, 2012Comments: This violates the tenets of the Hippocratic Oath. "Do No Harm" means to advise patients of any potential issues, regardless of situation. Withholding information from a parent that their baby will have medical complications is no less wrong than failing to tell someone that they have cancer or some other major health problem.Flag

Name: Nena Tatum on Mar 13, 2012Comments: Rewriting medical ethics is an immoral way to force your politics on women and women only. You do not comprehend that birth at any physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual cost to a woman forces her into a second class citizen status, and negates her control over her own life. Why should YOU have decision-making power over my body? You don't. You simply presume that you do, and you must be stopped. I submit that everytime you get your Viagra filled your doctor he cannot make you aware of possible side effects because then you might make an informed PERSONAL decision about your own body. Let someone else decide what is good for your penis, just as you are making judgments about what is good for my uterus.Flag

Name: Jessica Wade on Mar 13, 2012Comments: How can it be legal to lie about health information of a patient? While this is meant to punish women seeking abortions, it is also punishing those that aren't. What happens if a baby in utero needs life saving medical intervention? The doctor lies about its condition and then oops, baby dies, even though the woman had no intention of getting an abortion. This law is punishing both sides of the spectrum. It is wrong on many levels and I don't understand why there isn't more outcry against it.Flag

Name: Margery on Mar 13, 2012Comments: You are breaking your oath to not do any harm to your patients. Therefore ,you should be prohibited form practicing medicine and the legislation should support these measures that I am suggesting. Unless, if course, You like living in a Taliban Shiria controlled state.Flag
