Speak Out Against Domestic Violence Arizona!

Domestic violence continues to be the number one call that 911 operators receive in Arizona. One in 4 women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. These statistics illustrate the prevalence of domestic violence in our community, calling for everyone to take action and be part of the solution.

In Arizona, the AVON Program for Women & Justice at O'Connor House is working to raise awareness about domestic violence, and elevate its importance in public policy decisions.

We are asking political and community leaders, employers, and the community at large to take action and Speak Out Against Domestic Violence by signing this petition and taking the pledge:

I pledge to speak out against domestic violence by:

Speaking up for those who are victims of abuse in my family, community, and at work, or school;

Encouraging and supporting policies that protect victims of domestic violence, and hold people who abuse responsible; And,

Setting an example for my family, friends and community by fostering a safe environment.

Your support will help us to make important changes, and save lives.

**Please note that you may be asked to contribute a donation to iPetitions after signing and taking our pledge.  This donation would NOT go towards our effort, and if you ignore that portion, your signature WILL be counted.  We apologize for that prompt and are working to de-activate it.  THANK YOU!
