To Lexington & Richland County Council Members

Don't spend our money foolishly.

We the undersigned feel there is no legitimate reason for taxpayers to provide a multi-million dollar Adoption Center for Project Pet, an organization that has never operated a shelter or a spay/neuter clinic and has no experience with development of educational programs.

Overpopulation and the resulting animal suffering can only be remedied by an aggressive Spay/Neuter program. We believe that PETS, Inc. has presented an innovative and easily implemented program that will enlist the support of all area animal rescue agencies, therefore giving the taxpayers of Lexington and Richland Counties the best return for their investment.

Let's do it for the animals!

Over 60,000 spays will prevent far more suffering than a pretty building in Harbison.

It's the right thing to do.
