Name: Ralph Swallow on Jun 21, 2010Comments: no ramp = worse access = more cyclists and pedestrians using and crowding what is already a dangerous junction with poor visibility. Also, since the auto barriers went in, there is complete logjam at the ticket office entrance when a train arrives and unloads at the same time as peak arrivals of passengers trying to enter the station. I've been commuting for ten years from weybridge, I know.Flag

Name: Chris Pemberton on Jul 1, 2010Comments: Why have an entrance/exit that is closed?? Why take longer than needed getting to and from the station .... please re-open this it would save so much time on our very busy lives travelling to and from London each day. Thank you!Flag

Name: Tony Palmer on Jul 1, 2010Comments: On my own behalf and on behalf of the Caenshill Road Residents Association I ask that the South ramp be re-opened for the main commuter periods at least. Much money was spent to refurbish the ramp and users from the south of the station (and south car park) should be able to avoid the bridge and walk.Flag

Name: Colin Wootton on Jul 1, 2010Comments: It is absurd that the ramp has been renovated at considerable expense and then closed. Many commuters approach and leave the station in the direction of St George's Avenue and Brooklands Road. Opening the ramp would alleviate a considerable inconvenience. During the evening rush hours it is logical to allow passengers to leave using the ramp to reduce the congestion and queuing at the ticket barriers on the 'up' side.Flag

Name: Suzanne Cater on Jul 8, 2010Comments: I drop off my children at peak time at Weybridge station and I could drop them in the car park at the top and they could go down the tunnel if this entrance was reopened. This would help us all as I would not need to go down to the station with the car hence easing congestion at the station entranceFlag

Name: Andrew Ford on Jul 10, 2010Comments: The footways down to the station are of inadequate width for peak hour footfall and opening the ramp will alleviate pressure. The footways in the winter months down to the station and on the corner near noir bar are often icy and many people slip over. The ramp therefore offers a quicker and safer alternative. I also remember the ramp being open for a long time after the barriers were installed.Flag

Name: David Bentley on Jul 21, 2010Comments: Long overdue for re-opening. For people pushing buggies etc it will save a lot of effort and time by not having to cross the footbridge, negotiate the main entrance and fight for space on the pavement where the taxis wait, push up the hill and then re-cross the railway on the narrow and dangerous road bridge.Flag

Name: Ian Carter on Jul 21, 2010Comments: Please re-open the south side ramp. It's non-sensical to keep it closed, particularly during busy periods. It always used to be open during busy periods and the station is as busy as ever. Why then is the ramp still closed??Flag

Name: Susy Temperley on Aug 17, 2010Comments: It is extremely inconvenient that the South Side exit/entrance ramp at Weybridge station is closed. It's a much longer walk for all the commuters who live that side of the station. Also there always seem to be plenty of staff hanging around the station who could "police" that exit/entrance if necessary. It's about time South West trains thought more about its customers!Flag

Name: Malcolm Jeffreys on Oct 14, 2010Comments: Please reopen to save congestion in the main station entrance and shorten the journeys for all those both living and working on the south side of the station. Traffic congestion on the main station approach road would also be alleviated therby improving the taxi service through shorter queues on to the roundabout. The south side ramp was refloored and new safety handrails installed at the same time as the main station and unless the ramp is reopened this money will have been completely wasted By installing ticket barriers on the ramp additional staff costs will be avoidedFlag

Name: Faye Cottingham on Oct 15, 2010Comments: My husband and I are both gold card holders, as we commute daily to London. Living just south of the train station, it is extremely frustrating to have an extra 5-10 minute walk each day on the way home simply because this exit is disused. Please re-open as soon as possible.Flag

Name: Simon A. Archer on Oct 15, 2010Comments: On my own account and on behalf of Cobbetts Hill Residents Association, lets get the ramp re-opened. I had assumed that maybe it was closed for safety reasons, but behold ! it was opened for a Brooklands weekend event recently, so why not every day: clearly it is perfectly functional. It would allow people to bypass the now very overcrowded and dangerous footway over the bridgeFlag
