The Southern Residents include 3 pods: J, K, and L. With the birth of J50, the population of the SR's are now at 78. The birth of this beautiful baby girl is a beacon of hope for the Southern Resident population. I'm creating this petition to gather support for the naming of baby J50, help spread awareness and to encourage involvement and activism on all Orca's behalfs. These magnificent, gentle, playful, curious and beautiful animals desperately need our help- especially those currently in captivity. Please sign and join me in encouraging the naming of J50 to be called Hope, because that is exactly what she symbolizes.
