Simply to move the away fans at Pride Park to the South East Corner and have a recognised vocal area in the South Stand. It is important to know that this petition has been setup with the clubs co-operation and will be presented to the board of Derby County in due time. We all know that Pride Park lacks atmosphere. Something has to change and this proposal following initial research is the best way forward. We propose that the South Stand should be the area for fans to sit and vocally support the team. Currently this area is the South East Corner which is very limited in availability and also lacks the volume of noise that could be created by fans located in the South Stand. The acoustics at Pride Park mean that noise does not travel around the stadium. We may think its noisy in the SE Corner but in reality this noise CANNOT be heard from say the North Stand. We have seen on far too many occasions away fans with low numbers such as 500 make more noise than us. I urge anyone who feels passionately about the atmosphere, whether you would sit there or not, to please sign this petition so the club can gauge opinion and seriously look at the possibility of this relocation for season 2012-2013. We would like to propose that South Stand Upper Blocks H,G,F,E,D and Lower Blocks F,E,D,C,B are used. The club can decide on the finer details such as segregation netting and other issues but empty blocks of seats should be kept to a minimum so home and away fans can exchange good banter. Watching football and vocally supporting your team is not a crime and should not be treated as such. Currently vocal supporters of Derby County are not catered for, families and elderly fans who wish to watch the game in peace have numerous areas on where to sit, the same cannot be said for supporters who wish to be vocal. An example of this was Stoke City where we were embarrassed due to the club closing recognised singing blocks for segregation purposes. This must not happen again.
