Re: Uranium Mining
Please work to protect our rights. It is incredulous at the least that these companies trespass to stake their claims, and without notice. The impact of these in-situ operations will no doubt have impact on quality of life, decrease property values in an already tough market, and just end up ruining Colorado. In a State with severe water issues already, it should be your number one concern to protect what we have and not repeat Colorado's mining past whereby the mining pollution legacies of yesteryear still exist today.
Please support this review and renew your position on what the risks and penalties will be.
Thank you. |
| 204 | Joyce Rivera | Dear Governor Ritter, I am a landowner in South Park and I do NOT want insitu Uranium happening there. Why risk contaminating the head waters of the South Platte for years to come? It plainly is not responsible or safe. Thank you. |
