| 153 | vincent tolpo | The insitu uranium extract is not exempt from human error or unforseen errors. This makes it a danger to our neighbors and we won't stand for it.
Uranium as a material can foul driking water supplies forever. A company who makes the inevitable mistake simply goes out of business and those reponsible just walk away. Meanwhile our neighborhood is forever contaminated. Uranium is just too dangerous to be mined anywhere. Take all the engineers and specialists and retrain them to clean power sources. Let the Sun be our reactor. |

| 168 | Michael Paul Elder | Dear Governor Ritter,
I am strongly opposed to the leach mining of uranium at South Park Ranches in Park County, Colorado. This activity would devaluate my home and property and could cause harm to the health and well being of my family and I. Please request that mining of this type in this area is unsuitable.
Thanks,
Dr. Michael Paul Elder, D.O. |
| 169 | Dennis Coppock | I own 9 acres in the South Park area (south of Hartsel) and I DO NOT want to go out there for a pieceful weekend and see these wells all over the most beautiful terrain in Colorado. I DO NOT want my well water poisoned. I DO NOT want to see MY federal lands destroyed by these same wells. I DO NOT want to see the game and non-game animals harrassed and killed (intentionally and unintentionally). Please, PLEASE do all that is possible to keep this from happening.
Sincerely,
Dennis Coppock |

We are so quickly ruining our fresh water and this has been proven to contaminate and harm lands, wildlife and communities. Coloradans have voiced their love for our rugged, Rocky Mountain way of life. Please help us hold on to our land and health in South Park!
Thank you very much for listening. |
| 186 | Anonymous | I can't believe fellow Coloradans would even entertain the idea of ruining our beautiful state, not to mention the health risks on the environment. Shame on you!!! |

Please do not let the Uranium Mining companies come in and destroy our land. A wise man would listen to his people and not the lies of the greedy. Let the people of this land who work hard to own their land be able to sleep peacefully at night knowing thier property will not be disturbed.
May Peace be with you,
