Cindy HertzI oppose Uranium Mining in Park County. We have a second home in beautiful South Park and enjoy the serenity found in Park County.
Janet YenchFor many residents of South Park, their entire worth is invested in their land and their homes. Beside the potential risk to humankind and wildlife due to possible water contamination as a result of in-situ uranium mining, property values could be depressed for decades if this proposed project is allowed to proceed. Would you buy your grandkids a summer retreat just down the road from a uranium mine? Would you want them to drink the water? Please stand up for the cirizens of Park County and help them protect their back yards. Please stand up for your campaign pledge to pursue renewable energy sources.
AnonymousMy family and I are strictly AGAINST the proposed mining in our vacation property vicinity. We worked very hard to own a beautiful piece of Colorado mountain land that we can retreat from the stress of the city to relax and watch my family enjoy the very reason why we moved to Colorado. Please protect our interests. Thank you.
markus millerPlease support our efforts to keep our part of Colorado pristine for the future of our families and all of Colorado ( think drinking water ).There is TOO much at stake to ignore this.
Deborah MillerPlease don't allow the mining industry to destroy Colorado's valuable natural resources. Our drinking water is too valuable a commodity to jeopardize. Say "NO" to uranium mining in Park County!

AnonymousUnless the owner of the property does not have the mineral rights I don't know how they can be bullied into this. I would fight tooth and nail. Many accuquired property to build and retire on. How does it happen that that can be just ignored. I realise that it is all about money, not good tax paying US citizens who are loyal, to the American dream.

AnonymousI want to enjoy my property in South Park County CO for residential use, not for mining. Uranium mining in the area would render my property unusable.

steve palaoroWe don't need to mine for uranium in south park as the state of colorado is getting enother tax money of the oil and gas, with little impact to the land. I have see the land after mining uranium in the bad lands of wyoming
Anonymousuranium drilling in south park has got to be stopped. Why risk contaminating the groundwater when we live in an area that water is the most precious resourse? Havent we learned anything from water restrictions or from previous contamination (ie climax mine)

Theresa M. KnoxDear Sir, Please PETITION THE SECRETARY OF INTERIOR TO “DESIGNATE AS UNSUITABLE” URANIUM MINING LANDS IN SOUTH PARK, PARK COUNTY, COLORADO : "SECTION 601. (a) With respect to Federal lands within any State, the Secretary of Interior may, and if so requested by the Governor of such State shall, review any area within such lands to assess whether it may be unsuitable for mining operations for minerals or materials other than coal, pursuant to the criteria and procedures of this section.” Title VI, Section 601 Public Law 95-87: Surface Mine Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 30 U. S. C. §§ 1201; 91 Stat. 445.
Herbert C. & Janis L. McChrystalWe were stunned to find out a proposed Uranium Mining operation was in the works, where we recently purchased our dream! It would seem plenty of less populated areas are available for such testing and exploration. Why risk contaminating our groundwater, which also feeds Spinney, Eleven Mile, and the Platte River. Eventually, this could become a major health issue for literally millions of people, in the long run. Please help preserve the prestine and healthy environment, we as Coloradans, so truly love and enjoy! We plead with you to help stop this project in it's tracks now! Our children's and grand children's future is at stake! Please Stop! Thanks!
AnonymousA very, very concerned South Park Ranch land owner, opposing in-situ leaching of Uranium on our gorgeous ranches and Park County to protect our water, beauty, real estate value and future of our residential areas.
