The government needs to step up and stop acting like they dont care about us up here. save the smelter!!
my dad worked there for 30 years. what are these families supposed to do now? the north east cant afford to lose more jobs.
Keep it open.
so many local businesses will go under if the smelter closes. just another kick in the teeth for the region.
Rio Tinto making billions and still cutting jobs. absolutely shambolic.
