Comments: At Moline High School, how are we supposed to "Strive for excellence" if you're taking out the classes and teacher we need to Strive for Excellence?

Comments: well MHS is all JACKED UP, if they let go of these many teachers, and all these classes then instead of us succeeding we will fail. This is blasphemy(a sin against GOD) and the school board should really THINK ahead before they make decisions like this!!!! GET YOUR LIFE!!!

Comments: Mr. Digioia has been a major stepping stone in many peoples lives and careers and is an essential part of Moline High School. The art department pulls in the most scholarships alone and is the most important.

Comments: The Arts program has helped me learn so much about color and technique that I could not learn very well from a book. Getting personal feedback from a teacher is what has helped me really learn how to improve my drawing technique. Getting help with color and sketching skills has inspired me to look into some form of design as a possible career choice.

Comments: Without the Art department at Moline I would not be where I am today, healthy and happy. Art gave me hope in ways nothing else could and I owe my high school Art teachers everything. To cut this department is to cut down dreams for the future, there aren't many other classes that I know people looked forward to going to school for. Students tried harder and pushed farther in other classes, just so they could be in the Art program because that is where they felt that they mattered and that they could make a difference to the future.

Comments: I have planned my future around what i can achieve in my senior year and that has been taken away from me. I live in poverty and i cannot afford the collage and i am relying on my skills as a musician and an actor to gain scholorships to pay for collage.
