Name: London Clemons on Dec 12, 2012Comments: well MHS is all JACKED UP, if they let go of these many teachers, and all these classes then instead of us succeeding we will fail. This is blasphemy(a sin against GOD) and the school board should really THINK ahead before they make decisions like this!!!! GET YOUR LIFE!!!Flag

Name: Jennie White on Dec 12, 2012Comments: The Arts program has helped me learn so much about color and technique that I could not learn very well from a book. Getting personal feedback from a teacher is what has helped me really learn how to improve my drawing technique. Getting help with color and sketching skills has inspired me to look into some form of design as a possible career choice.Flag

Name: Marcie Nipper on Dec 12, 2012Comments: Without the Art department at Moline I would not be where I am today, healthy and happy. Art gave me hope in ways nothing else could and I owe my high school Art teachers everything. To cut this department is to cut down dreams for the future, there aren't many other classes that I know people looked forward to going to school for. Students tried harder and pushed farther in other classes, just so they could be in the Art program because that is where they felt that they mattered and that they could make a difference to the future.Flag

I live in poverty and i cannot afford the collage and i am relying on my skills as a musician and an actor to gain scholorships to pay for collage.Flag
