The only thing i own that's sony is my ps3. i have a usb hard drive(not sony), ps3 light bar(not sony), a cheap hdmi cable(not sony), turtle beech head set, lg tv, thompson router..... so i can have a ps3 but i cant play it. and if i do it all has to be sony's and then u can spy on me too..

   Comments: sony you need to knock it off and grow up, because of your action i am done buying your products and have not used my ps3 sense you put 3.56 out, i have been mad sense you STOLE linux and no i do not do any the hacks i actually tell people not to and to buy their games, well i'm done i wipe my hands of you. you will receive a phone call from me soon to remove my credit card info off MY account as you can not even protect that info. i guess i should have expected that as you couldn't even encrypt the ps3, i would say your system but guess what it is not your system it is the purchaser's system no matter what you think. good bye

    Comments: I'm against this new psn terms. I'm one of the oldest french psn account (jack95440) with a 60Gb EUR ps3 (600€ naked). Sony spy and ban me directly, without mail. I'm okay to stop piracy and back my ps3 in OFW, but now my ps3 system is bannish. Even if i want to back on OFW, my ps3 cant acces psn. i stay in cfw.because Sony dont give me the choice.

    Comments: Hello, I am writing in order to show my protest against Sony`s doings against us normal users. Firstly I was seriously using Linux on my PS3 but then you turned it of. Then this new laws 17.02.2011 .Then what will you do in the future Sony? Make us pay for monthly use of our PS3?

    Comments: Sony this is all new low, even for you. Asking from people to allow you to be able to legally DESTROY their data on PS3, ability to control it in any way you desire, AND use all data as you please, including personal data is both illegal and wrong on so many levels. Same goes for 'automatically' charging on PSN on buying stuff which exceeds you wallet credit. Little hint for Sony: EULA is still required to abide the law, In case it doesn't local law supersedes it. In the end.. my PS3 will not ever be connected to PSN, as I own my PS3, and not Sony. I did not 'rent' the device, I bought it, I own it.

    Comments: I just want to state that I have paid so much for Sony products and I continually bought off of the PSN even after having modded my system. I should be allowed to run, new interesting things on my hardware. Not every single being that comes to buy a PS3 does it cause they want to sit and play games, after being a gamer for 20+ years I have gotten to the point that I have more fun modifying and enjoying the hardware and software that I "purchase" not "lease" from these companies. All in all you are just hurting yourselves Sony.

    Comments: So, finally I'm done. First you removed otherOS from the Ps 3, then you want to control and spy the PS3 system I bought, it is my! I don't know how you want to get through with this, cause it's against a lot of laws here in Germany. The PS 3 is my possession! Also you are not able to provide me, that I have to buy hardware that is published by you! USB sticks, Controllers etc., so peripherals. I have the PS3 and I have the PSP and both are my last consoles of Sony, cause Sony starting to become megalomania.

    Comments: So sick and tiered of all this pettiness over a free online experience that is boring as hell. Not once have I been able to use this system against friends online and the fact that we do not get anything back when you buy a premium account is terrible. Games like WOW are made a better experience as people will pay for it but not the almighty SONY. So in finishing, make your product better or don't supply something that is free and take it away because you don't like what users to with their consoles. P.S. Just think what would happen if Microsoft did this for internet use if people were not using the hardware to their liking?

    Comments: PSN login: wardialer7218 i didn't realize i was buying an eReader when i bought my PS3. i'm half-way through it and i gotta say i'm pretty disgusted w/ their intrusive bait-and-switch spying tactics. i have paid for all content and now feel i'm being treated like a criminal for supporting their original business model. new marketing standards should be adopted to show in BOLD PRINT on the box stating that advertised features and benefits are subject to change.

I'm buying an XBOX now and only keeping my ps3 as a media centre but i'll never buy any games or accessories that are made for PS3, You've let me down as a customer, you dont give us a choice, you force this agreement upon us, but guess what sony, i hav'nt agreed to your violation of my rights as a consumer.
