I never thought people would actually care about this firmware limitation as much as I do but the momentum here is honestly wild. Seeing all these photographers chime in about their own struggles with the bracketing is just incredible and makes me think maybe Sony will actually listen for once.

this is honestly the only thing stopping this camera from being perfect for landscape work. 0.3 ev is a joke for serious hdr.
WHY SONY WHY. spent good money on this body and cant even do basic bracketing for my real estate stuff. please fix this with a firmware update i am begging you

Not only should they unlock the exposure value bracketing but they should also correct the exposure readings. when I shoot the meter shows +2 ev and when I send in the lot of shots to convert to HDR, the same shot that read +2 on the camera reads way over on photoshop. Today I shot and it read +2 and on photoshop it read +8 so I'm forced to auto bracket with .7 :/
