Sonic Boom to attend the JSU vs. SU game

303 Signatures Goal: 500

The school's administration has suspended JSU'S SONIC BOOM OF THE SOUTH MARCHING BAND from attending the game because of "alleged alligations" of hazing. They have no concrete evidence that any so called hazing has been committed in the band only heresay from bystanders. So they have gave notice to the Sonic Boom of the South that they are taking precautions needed to prevent hazing now and in the future. Since this game is one of the largest game in the SWAC and is nationally recognized i would appreciate it if everybody would come to the "Dustbowl" Tues. Oct. 9 and help show some support for the band. We are trying to petition, protest, and use any civil rights that we have to keep the long tradition going of Jackson State vs. Southern. I personally encourage anyone and everybody who supports the Sonic Boom of the South to attend especially those of the younger generation who will contribute to the Sonic Boom in their later years. So all elementary, middle, and high school students please come out and support us. Also all band alumni and school alumi who support the band i would encourage you to come and support us in our efforts to keep a long line of tradition going. The rally will be at 6 p.m.
