Sonic adventure is one of the first non-side-scrolling sonic the hedgehog games to be made. So instead of controlling sonic as you watch from his side, you control him as the camera follows behind him. This effectively is enabling you to feel more in the game as well as being able to predict future obstacles.

Another thing that the sonic adventure series has, is a 3d chao garden. Chao are virtual pets only found in the sonic world. In a chao garden, you are able to care for and train your very own chao, who you can race against other chao or fight other chao with. Now imagine this game using the features of the nintendo 3ds, enabling you to have online sonic racing, or online chao karate.
