Sonic Adventure 2 has been voted to be one of the best games in the Sonic the hedgehog video game series of all time. This game was originally released on the SEGA DreamCast, a console that the 3ds is more powerful and can output better graphics.

The latest sonic the hedgehog games that have been put on to portable devices have really been down in the gutter with the amount of effort put into making them. Sonic Generations was ported to the 3ds, and played only like a side-scrolling platformer, there was no modern sonic gameplay feel to it, and the same thing has happened with every other portable version of a sonic game.

Sonic adventure 2 could take full advantage of the 3ds' abilities. The system's spotpass ans streetpass features could enable people to unlock more things. The game's Chao Garden could use the 3ds' spotpass features to utilize and online chao trading system, as well as online chao racing, and online chao karate. There can also be a multiplayer racing system, with a vs. ranking like the one used in sonic generations.
