Mark Fisher | La Table du Mareyeur is a hugely important part of the Village - well known not only locally - but in many other countries as a superb restaurant. Any interference by the Port Grimaud village management would be outrageous.
John Keenan | La Table du Mareyeur has provided Port Grimaud with a superb and attractive facility for many years. It should be allowed to continue as it is.
Sarah Jackson | Resident of Grimaud, I support whole heartedly this petiton to preserve the terrace as it exists, one of the only attractive terraces as you enter the cité. & restaurant that caters for residents, not only throughout the season estivale
Paul Lowin | It's an institution, are they crazy??
Michael Fisher | Port Grimaud without The Mareyeur would be a very sad place indeed. La Table du Mareyeur has set a high standard over many years and Port Grimaud is rising to meet it - what a shame to spoil it all now.

Miranda Llewellyn | The whole ambience & pleasure of eating by the water will be ruined if the outside terraces go.I can't understand why it has even been suggested. Why sabotage a popular tourist AND residents facility?
Mahmood Karimjee | The Table de Mareyeur is well known amongst the gourmets of Tanzania who travel to France and I am sure it is one of the attractions for us to choose the country over say Italy or Switzerland. Do not supress this hard working family who have benefitted your town with addtional business, employment, training and contributions from taxes and revenue. The restaurant is an insitituion in your town and its historical character should not be altered. Vive La Table du Mareyeur!

Jon Varney | This is a fantastic venue and must be saved.
Paul Thornton-Allan | We are very sorry to hear the news that La Table du Mareyeur is at risk of losing its concession to use a large part of its outside terrace. We have been residents in Port Grimaud for a number of years and the restaurant has played an important part in our enjoyment of Port Grimaud. Ewan and Caroline Scutcher have played a major part in providing our family with a social focal point, I sincerely hope our support will convince you to reconsider this position.
Nick Boulstridge | It would be an awful shame to see the terrace taken away from the restaurant. The restaurant is great and it would be terrible to see it go just for taking their outside space
Erica Sivil |
Anonymous | The restaurant's beautiful - and should be left as it is.
chautard jerome |
cwetherhill | How can anyone even think of closing this fabulous restaurant. The best in Port Grimaud by far. Please reconsider.
| 176 | John Standing | This restaurant is a great asset to your community! Customers enjoy sitting outside. It is part of the pleasure of enjoying French life.
Let them earn a living and continue looking after YOUR guests! |
Zoe Worner |
Bob Angel | it would be a great shame if as a result of these actions La Table du Mareyeur was forced to reduce the scope its business. I would see this as having a detrimental effect on the quality of life in Port Grimaud!
Phil Cooper |
Justin Heron | this is not just an amazing restaurant because of the food and the hosts. half of its unique nature is the outdoor space - you feel as though you area part of the port and experience life in Port Grimaud.
