Ramon von Drehle | We would strongly urge that this wonderful restaurant may be permitted to continue serving the Port Grimaud & environs community

| 56 | KERR | The terrace of this restaurant is an integral part of
its charm - its delightful views over the canals are
a major attraction of this excellent fish restaurant. |
Sara Cutress | I totally support Caroline and Ewan. La Table du Mareyeur is such a popular restaurant and adds to the culinary prestige of Port Grimaud - everything should be done to support it.
Philip Doyle | I am a resident of St Tropez and only come toPort Grimaud to visit La Table du Mareyeur for dinner many times during the season and out side the season. This would stop me coming!
Lauraine Jones |
Donna Harley |
Guinness Harley |
Elizabeth Rabinowitz | To no longer be able to enjoy the delights of La Table du Mareyeur would be the greatest of shames. I hope that Port Grimaud will have them amongst their business community for years to come
Anonymous | it would be tragedy for Port Grimaud to potentially lose this wonderful restaurant which has used the terrace for 30 years
Philippa Curtis |
| 69 | Huw Thomas | La Table Du Mareyeur is probably the greatest asset that Port Grimaud has and we visit annually.
It would be a travesty to loose any part of the atmosphere outside on the canal |
huw Thomas | This would be an absolute travesty should it happen. We have been coming to The Table du Mareyeur for years. To change the atmosphere would be to change it's culture! Leave Port Grimaud they way it is!
David Prais, Lord of Pembridge | This is crazy, the terrace must stay.
Dawn Thomas | It's been a while since I visited La Table du Mareyeur with Huw, but had the most wonderful time at this establishment! To lose this fabulous restaurant would be a shame for the small business community of Port Grimaud.
Paul Sillett | In my opinion, La Table du Mareyeur is Port Grimaud's finest restaurant. To reduce the size of the outside terrace would be a travesty, and it should not be allowed to happen.

paul ridgway | it would be a sin.

Peter Silverstone | I absolutely shocked at the thought that the La Table du Mareyeur is potentially losing its fabulous outdoor area. I have enjoyed many enjoyable evenings at this wonderful restaurant and hope to enjoy many many more over the years.
Joaana Mowle | It would be such a loss to Pory Grimaud to loose the Table de Mareyear. It is an intigral part of our holidays to the area and stands head and shoulders above the other restaurants in our view and I know it is a very popularly held view. I cannot imagine a good enough reason to reduce their space and would be appauled by this being forced upon them.
Clive J. Kaye | It would be a tragedy for Port Grimaud to lose its best restaurant
Michael Walters | I have visited the Saint Tropez area each August for nearly 10 years now and always make it a point to visit Port Grimaud a couple of times during each visit. My primary reason for coming is La Table du Mareyeur, my favorite restaurant. Ewan and Caroline have built a wonderful place there and I always recommend it to any friends who visit the south of France. The wonderful food, service, and atmosphere on the terrace overlooking the canal keep me coming back year after year!
Alan Mellows |
Richard Lee | Our favourite restaurant in Port Grimaud. A must for any serious food lover. Such a warm welcome and a credit to Port Grimaud. Sitting on the terrace in the evening is sheer bliss and an integral part of this restaurant's ambience
rupert blomfield | Ewan & Caroline Scutcher and La Table du Mareyuer are a great asset to Port Grimaud and to lose their energy and enthusiasm for the village, its cuisine and hospitality would be a great loss for your community.
Graham Wilson | Without the presence of a place such as La Table du Mareyeur, Port Grimaud will enter a period of pure curiosity and decline. It needs a lot more than Pizza's, it needs some class. This is something, that as a resident, I find incomprehensible and an insult to the memory of the community designer.

andy woodgate | having lived in and around port grimaud its good to see nothing has changed in all these years . ewan and carole must be the most patient in the port .to live and work with the dinosores that run the port must be very stressfull why dont they realise that tha retsurant is one off the main features off the port anyway good luck and all my love andy sam
David Painter |
Phoebe Weiland | It would be a great shame if this restaurant were forced to close. It is run by an excellent team and provides a first class service. We urge you to reconsider any decision that would put this business under threat.
Lars T. Ugland | A wonderful place. Please do not destroy!!!
Daniel Gallichan | How can this happen to a business after so many years it just seems ridiculous.
Peter Gignoux | I have been a happy and repeat customer for many years, and am deeply distressed to hear that they are threatened in this way.A hard working couple who run the only decent fish restaurant within 100 km. of Port Grimaud, and in my opinion, the best restaurant in Port Grimaud as well.
Christine Dare | I have an appartment directly opposite the restaurant. I can see the terrace from my windows and hear muffled sounds of people enjoying a fun evening. It is part of the character of living in the centre of Port Grimaud. It is horrible in the winter, not because of the weather but because it is without life and soul. If neighbours who are as close as we do not complain, on what grounds should it be closed?
franck janet | Je soutiens Erwan et Caroline Scutcher
TROIN CHAUTARD | Bonne chance
