   Comments: Alexandria is sorely lacking in recreational offerings for the preschool set, particularly in comparison to Arlington and Fairfax. It's time that Alexandria truly meet its recent title of "top city for families" by remembering that our littlest citizens deserve some outlets for play.

    Comments: I have a 4 year, 2 year, and 8 month old. There are no facilities in Alexandria for these ages to play together indoors without paying hundreds of dollars for a Gymboree or My Gym class. We currently go to Fairfax County to use the soft playroom at the Lee District Rec Center. There should be facilities in the city in which we live for safe, inexpensive, indoor play like the proposed soft playroom.

    Comments: PLEASE open a soft playroom in Alexandria. I am also a racquetball player but would very much support converting one of the courts into a soft play room. We visit the Lee District Rec Center soft play room several times a month but would prefer to have a soft play room closer to home.

    Comments: I have 8 month old quadruplets and don't imagine we could afford Gymboree, so this would be perfect for our family for several years to come. There are so many new babies in our neighborhood, this would be a great resource. When me 5-year-old was coming along we always had to go to arlington/Barcroft Gym for such resources, one dedicated room is not too much to ask, please.
