| 1004 | Judith | 01 | 01 | 98040 | During this era of limited habitat for birds and animals it is unthinkable that more sports fields are more important. Get the kids out hiking and enjoying the experience of nature. Utilize the many, many sports fields now available and leave the remaining homes of birds and animals intact. |
| 1005 | Richard Ellison | 02 | 01 | 09115 | This is a great birding site! Don't change its jurisdiction enroute to being a new ball field! |
| 1006 | melodie martin | 02 | 01 | 98102 | The value of living in the Puget Sound area is not in how many soccer fields we have. It is in retaining areas that we can go to and find nature as it was before our arrival. |

We as a nation need to realize the gems we have and rezone to conserve our natural resources before they are only in our memories, then books. |
| 1012 | Mary Bicknell | | | 98105 | As the "in-filling of King County " rapidly continues it is imperative we have quiet, natural areas to enjoy. I live in a very urban part of Seattle and I know that if King County is still a beautiful place in ten years, it must act now to preserve natural areas. I just returned from Washington DC and found that they have many more green belts than we have. Once the native trees and plants are removed it is almost impossible to return the land to its former beauty. Please preserve this natural area. |

| 1014 | Ann Groesch | 01 | 01 | 98019 | As Sammamish continues to expand, more of it's utilization will be for building space. Preservation of space that is natural for our community needs to be a priority as well. |
| 1015 | Judy Cheley | 03 | 01 | 98125 | For wildlife to survive they need natural areas, 30 acres is best preserved for wildlife preservation so future generations to be able to enjoy also |

| 1017 | Martha Taylor | 02 | 01 | 98115 | Please preserve the passive recreation nature of this park. I do not support development of organized sports fields in this park. |
| 1018 | Tasha Kirby | 02 | 02 | 98074 | |
| 1019 | Matthew Frerker | 04 | 01 | 98075 | Some of the best running/biking trails around. I need these trails :) |
| 1020 | Darin Goehner | 04 | 01 | 98075 | The mountain biking and nature is incredible. There are plenty of ballfields, etc. in the city of Sammamish that could be used if scheduled appropriately. There are many school ballfields that sit vacant.
Is the land King County's to give away? My understanding is that the land in question is protected by land conservation requirements. |
| 1021 | linda rantala | 01 | 02 | 98115 | We need to preserve what little green space we have. I have seen other Parks lose acreage to sports fields and it causes a loss in habitat for wildlife, especially birds. It degrades the "solitude" experience for hikers, bikers, equestrians and birders. |
| 1022 | Janet Wilson | 04 | 01 | 98075 | I am a long-distance runner, and I run through Soaring Eagle at all times of the year (rain or shine). It has been great for me because if I want to run trails, I don't have to drive out to Tiger Mountain. Please don't change a thing about the park! There is so much building and development going on now that many of my other favorite places to go such as Grand Ridge are changing or are simply gone. We ALL need wide-open spaces. Thank you! |
| 1023 | Susan Edson | 03 | 01 | 98056 | |
| 1024 | Joanna Buehler | 01 | 01 | 98027 | The City of Sammamish is busy paving over all the natural lands left. Ballparks, etc. can go elsewhere, but a large natural, forested area is unique and irreplaceable (for at least 80 years). Keep it natural as intended when this land was set aside originally Thank you. |
| 1025 | Boyce Heidenreich | 02 | 01 | 98074 | I strongly urge you to fully preserve this wonderful natural wild land amidst the suburban development that surrounds it. Your vote against clearing 30 acres for active recreation sports fields is important to so many of us who live near this natural resource. |

| 1031 | Kimberly McCormack | 04 | 02 | 98109 | I love soaring eagle park and go mountain biking and walking there regularly! Please leave the park as is and do not develop, please!! |

| 1033 | Anonymous | 04 | 01 | 98075 | Soaring Eagle park is a remarkable park that I feel strongly should be left in its natural state. |
| 1034 | Patrick Daniels | 04 | 01 | 98074 | Both of my daughters play soccer. I believe we have enough soccer fields already. We should preserve Soaring Eagle Park the way it is. My daughters use the trails on Soaring Eagle Park and love them. My family does not want to sacrifice the unique natural setting that is undeveloped just to create more soccer or other sport fields. Once developed, this land is changed forever and can never be restored. Please do not develop this park. Please leave it the way it is. |
| 1035 | Laurel Geisbush | 04 | 01 | 98074 | This is an amazing resource and I visit it daily most of the year. It would be such a same to change this. Once we loose it we can never get it back. It really is the best resource we have in the area and we need to keep it natural with all the overdevelopment everywhere else we live. |

| 1043 | Steve Krause | 04 | 02 | 98075 | I hike and Bike the trails year-round 2-3 times a week. I have done so for the past 20 yrs. The space has shrank over the years and we can't afford to lose any more of this gem. We are truly blessed to have this resource at our fingertips. Please preserve this truly unique area which sets Sammamish apart from other municipalities. Thankyou |

| 1045 | Anonymous | 04 | 02 | 98074 | I have been using this park area for years and beleive it is a significant asset to our City and region. |
| 1046 | Eric Jorgensen | 03 | 01 | 98006 | Some things are worth the effort to maintain. This is one of them |
| 1047 | Tim Dean | 03 | 01 | 98074 | |
| 1048 | Graham Johnson | 03 | 01 | 98074 | Soaring Eagle park is what makes Sammamish a great place to live and sets it apart from other cities.
Please do not let this park be turned from a great natural playground to another developed park.
Once it is gone it will never be replaced!
I have already seen the Beaver Lake area reduced in size over the years. |
| 1049 | Anonymous | 02 | | 98074 | Please preserve King County's Soaring Eagle Park |
