Snowboard Kids to Virtual Console

60 Signatures Goal: 100

As Nintendo unveiled its plan to bring previously released games back into release with the Wii's Virtual Console service, the first thing that came to most gamer's minds was the ability to play their favorite games from the Nintendo, Super Nintendo or Nintendo 64 systems. A favorite racing game from the Nintendo 64 that a number of people thought of was that alternative to Mario Kart 64, the light-hearted yet intense snowboard racing game, Snowboard Kids, developed by Racdym and published by Atlus. Snowboard Kids went on to become a Player's Choice game and even have a sequel for the same system a year later. In light of this petition, we the signers of this petition ask that you, Atlus, please consider the potential in releasing Snowboard Kids or even Snowboard Kids 2 on Wii Virtual Console for the chance of many fans to relive the earlier times of getting together with friends and playing an old favorite. Where you raced to the finish over snow, ice, grass, or quicksand, while performing unique tricks, firing attacks or dropping pans on each other, or to allow others to experience this classic who may have overlooked it in the past, or to simply gauge the persistence of the popularity of this series over the 11 years it has been around.

I would at least like Snowboard Kids 1. I haven't played it in years since I was forced to throw away my N64 (that was a sad time DX) but I thought it was awesome and the music was great, too! It was also really freaking hard! The farhest I got to was the last race in the autumn village and I could not beat that Shinobin guy! Argh!
