| 601 | Mike Hager | It's a shame these people in this town have their priorities so mixed up. A human life is more precious than any stupid tradition, no matter how long and dear it is to a town. How dare they threaten this young man and cause he and his family so much pain. Shame on you... |

| 605 | Michael Brutsch | Good luck and best wishes to Mr. Karch. I hope the Snohomish football program is proud; they have truly shown why the rest of the world hates America. |
| 606 | David M. Bullard | The town's priorities are terribly out of order and the whole community should be ashamed of itself. |
| 607 | Neal Massey | The decision by the FA has not been reached on a level plying field, earlier this week a club was only find for selecting an ineligible player in their squad. Neal Massey. |
| 608 | Anonymous | I wish Brett well in his recuperations and those in the community who are more concerned with a cannon than someone's well being should be ashamed of themselves. |
| 609 | Jason Torre | I wish him the best. I hope he has a full recovery and get all the support and love he needs |
| 610 | Marty Franks | Get well soon. This is a ridiculous set of circumstances. You are in the right and your town is just stupid. |
| 611 | Dave Ellis | Brett and his family have my full support. It is shameful that people put a sport on a higher plain of worship, then the tragedy that befell this young man. Shame on those for their threats and intimidation. |
| 612 | Tong Zhang | I cannot believe that a community from the puget sound can care more about a sport than the well-being of a student. Seattle was recently named the most intelligent city in America... the people of Snohomish put that honor to shame. |

| 616 | Dale Fitz | My heart goes out to Karch and his family. |
| 617 | Ray Condo | Astonishing that a game of football could EVER be more important that a young man nearly loosing his leg... Wake up people! |

| 620 | Kamen | So many people in this country just don't get it. |
| 621 | Eric Tagliere | The reaction of the community is simply too ridiculous for words. Keep you chin up Brett, and know that the world is lot better place than what you are currently experiencing. Grow up, move on and find a better town in which to live. |
| 622 | Jon Jenkins | |
| 623 | Craig Eisenberger | |
| 624 | Nick | Moments like these make me think we should just ban all types of competition in schools.
You are sad people. |
| 625 | Chip | Best of luck, man. Sorry so many people in your town are so short-sighted and vicious. You deserve better. |
| 626 | steve | It is a shame that you live in a community filled with such selfishness. |
| 627 | Anonymous | Dear Brett: I wish you and your family and very happy holiday and a prosperous new year. It is stunning that your town, and classmates are not able to recognize the importance of human life over a sport, but please know that there are THOUSANDS of people outside of this small, and small-minded, community who have a great deal of respect for you.
Keep yer chin up kid.
Best wishes,
Cait

| 628 | Marie | Brett, I hope your recovery goes well and that you learn to get over these hateful and ignorant people. They are not worth your trouble. Stay well, get better, and rise above it. |
| 629 | Chad | Get your leg healed up bro, don't let a bunch of immature people get your head under water, keep fighting we got your back. |
| 630 | Anonymous | The citizens of Snohominsh who care more about sports than about a kid's well being have lost perspective and have very small hearts.
You really should be ashamed.
And football should be banned for a year just for acting like such total JERKS. |
| 631 | Eric Crisp | I'm just not sure why some people can't imagine being in someone else's shoes.. Poor kids leg was virtually blown to pieces... |
| 632 | Sonny Miles | Town's reaction is horrible. We are talking about a person who's potential military career may have been ruined. |

| 634 | Anonymous | this is typical short sighted idiocy concerning school sports.
i say sue the hell out of the town and the school. make them so broke they can't even think about sports, and maybe they will remember its about learning, not football.
idiots.
good luck to the injured, screw you to the uncaring. |
| 635 | Tracy L | I hope your recovery goes swiftly. Take heart that this town's response is almost universally held in contempt by the rest of America. I can only hope that the overseeing board takes into consideration how out of touch football has made this town and perhaps take some real action to make these people understand the insanity they are spewing. |

| 640 | Patrick Sutton | My heart goes out to you Brett. Its a shame that your town thinks a stupid piece of metal is more important than a human being. Its just sad. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are acting like little 4 year olds. No wait - even 4 year olds wouldn't act like that. I'm embarrassed for them. Get Well soon. I hope your dream of joining the military comes true. SEMPER FI !!! |
| 641 | Rick Cota | Time to start the "Bannin the Cannon" campaign.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for traditions. Just need to question the ones that have a potential to cause harm to others while carrying it out.
Can't they just get a marching band like everyone else?
I got a fresh idea for them. They should get a banner with the players names on it, have cheerleaders hold it up and the team can run through it and tear it apart.
Get well soon.
Shame on the community for not coming to your aid. |
| 642 | Ryan Gray | Sorry to hear about the accident and even sorrier to hear about what's happening with the community. What selfish and insensitive pieces of garbage! I wish you a speedy and full recovery! |
| 643 | Conner | People take football too seriously. They need to wake up. It's not woth risking a life over. |
| 644 | Nick | |
| 645 | Kevin Howen | Unbelievable. I would be devestated if the people around me, the people I thought I could trust in, completly abandoned me. I hope things turn out better in the future. |
| 646 | Greg Smith | I think the town has been awful and I wish Brett my very best and hope for a speedy recovery. |
| 647 | Kookie | Forshame on da skool |
| 648 | Anonymous | Go Brett! |
| 649 | Anonymous | i played football for 8 years until the end of college, its only a game. |
| 650 | John Cramer | You people are petty, childish assholes and need to grow the hell up. Whether a kid can walk or not is more imporant than your god damned cannon or your trite football traditions. Gain some perspective. |
