SNL: invite Leonard Cohen as host and/or musical guest

Leonard Cohen, the brilliant poet, songwriter and performer, releases his new album in September 2014. Saturday Night Live has a history of inviting great artists to perform, and Leonard Cohen would be entirely consistent with SNL's rich tradition and history. He has not appeared on SNL for many years.
Cohen has been touring for years and his live performances are typically professional and flawless. He does not rely on excessive production. The show is his voice, his face, his backup singers, and his band. He would be a perfect guest artist for Saturday Night Live.
