We are petitioning for SMU to treat campus more like a school and less like a business. We would first like to petition for SMU to provide us with a canteen where food prices are cheaper. Being a student at SMU means everything is tons more expensive. Our school fees are already very much higher than our other counterparts. On top of that, our campus space is taken up by outsiders who host a myriad of events in return for more cash for SMU. We hope to provide a strong rallying force for SMU to take us seriously and take their students' needs into account.
