Comments: If this artist is allowed to appear on Smith College campus, it would be a widespread disrespect to the students of color. Her lyrics are ignorant and disrespectful, and I for one am disgusted that she would even be considered an option for the spring concert.

Comments: I don't attend Smith College because it promotes ignorance (including Kreayshawn/White Girl Mob), I attend Smith College because it promotes education. Education that powerfully enables me to show the world it's flaws and to effectively reform them. Therefore, this is why I am petitioning--I'm petitioning against racism and ignorance. Don't let racism and ignorance parade on our stage at JMG.

Comments: Bringing her to Smith campus means that we support her blatant disregard for the struggles minorities have had to go through and the bad name she brings towards the Bay Area. She is popular for one song and one that isn't promoting anything nor advancing women. Please do not let her come to this campus because it would be a a disgrace and embarrassment not only Smith but the students.

Comments: I refuse to be insulted by this woman who has no respect for a race by using a word that is embedded with pain and hatred. Even today I have been hurt being called the n-word. she says we have not walked in her shoes. Well has she walked in the shoes of our ancestors? NO, i do not believe she is "acting black" however it may be defined but I do believe she behaving in an ignorant, disrespectful manner.
