    Comments: I've been wanting to purchase this little gem for several years. Its been taking so long to get it in the U.S. I'm fearful that it will be priced too high. Its worth is in the conservation of fuel, especially for short trips. I believe it will be the next best thing to the fuel cell auto and/or the hybrid autos. Unless we start taxing SUV/luxury autos and heavy vehicles with $5.00/$6.00 gas, we will all be saddled with high priced gasoline.

    Comments: I have been waiting for the US Smart car for more than a year. Gas prices are going through the roof, and I am considering buying a Toyota Prious. The shennanigans by the crooks managing automakers today the world-over are incredible. They must have an interest in keeping oil prices (and their profits) high. Lets get on with making and selling the needed Smart cars in the US.
